what about the ‘19 D vs UT, bama, OU scored points, NSU scored two td’s early, etc? I think it’s more about execution in the moment, putting yourself in a position to win.

Yes, Joe Burrow would be a much better option.

But Nuss ain’t Joe.

Brennan killed it in the 4 games he played.

The defense could not stop anyone in those games.

I will say that I think LSU will surprise some this season. I know Bama returns their starting QB, but LSU gave him hell last season. Everyone in the west has gotten better because of recruiting like AtM, Ole Piss, Arkansas and so on. Georgia keeps powerhouse teams because of Saban's clone, and Fla is Fla, but LSU always keeps enough talent to surprise people. I look for Maason Smith to breakout and destroy teams OLines this season.

Stats are admirable, but W’s weren’t there.

LSU averaged 43.3 ppg in his 3 starts in 2020. I don't think Myles was the problem.

That's on the horrible defense that year.

Daily fricking troll threads.
I wish this site vetted member's better. A simple policy that you must wait a predetermined amount of days before your first post, and must comment on a set number of posts on any given topic before you can "START"a post.

Are you implying the coaching staff is in error for starting the QB who gives us the best chance to win?
No matter which guy starts, he will have earned the start.

Curious, a question for the board, which of the three potential starters most closely resembled Burrow with their swag, demeanor, and arm talent in the Spring game?

Thanks for sharing. I am going to sit back and let the great staff that has been put together make that decision and enjoy the ride.
