Getting to 205 soon will be realistic and just fine. Jared Goff was a 6'4 205 freshman at Cal.
and was a string bean and not facing Alabama defensive line.

so what. 5-10 lbs isn't going to do that much protecting. its not ideal but its real freshman progress to be satisfied with. Chances of him starting this year are probably pretty slim anyways.

Doubtful he can beat out Narcisse, but should make for good competition.

Narcisse is what we in the biz call "the real deal". His job to lose next year IMVHO.

Dropping dimes? Are you sayin' he's a stool pigeon?

The next Jones/Hodson. (But he'll need to add some solid weight)
If he can play at a Bert Jones level with a good receiving corp around him, fasten your seatbelt. This will be special.

I respect Lowell emensly, yes I know him, for all he has endured and still come back to compete as well as being a fine young man. But other than being 6'2" and 240lbs what has he done on the field in the realm of playing the QB position in the last 2 years to convince anyone that he is the automatic heir apparent to be the next LSU starting QB? And yes it is all relative. Brennan evaded huge D linemen his entire HS career. Jeffrey Simons to name one but many many others. Brennan did not iniate the contact he avoided it at all cost to give himself time to get the ball into the hands of the play makers on the team. He has proven he will stay in the pocket while getting blitzed but will throw the ball and not run it into the teeth of the defense at the drop of hat. Just a different style of play that avoids unnecessary contact. Kinda like Brady, the Mannings and the like. They all can take a hit but don't encourage it. Just wait you will see what I am talking about soon enough!!!

Weird thread. First you talk crap about Brennen spilling spare change on the ground and then you post a link of him practicing his deep passes with a WR.

To me Lowell just has the "it" factor.... We shall see! Plus he's a Louisiana boy! Gotta root for him

U guys are crazy. Brennan is on another level than Lowell. And Lowell is very talented and very athletic but Brennan a far more polished QB

Lol...at St. Stanislaus? I hope he's the next coming of Joe Montana but he played against shite competition his whole high school career.
He ended up with the kind of stats that kids get playing their PlayStations. You really can't hope for more.
He will be just fine after a year of development in Baton Rouge.
