I know I will get blasted but here are my 2 cents. If BH had not thrown the pick to end the Wisconsin game then he most probably would have played into the 2nd quarter of the Jacksonville State game and probably would have handed off enough to Guice and Williams to score, TD White would have still scored and we still win. We would then go into this week with him still as the starter. We get past MSU in a close one and lose to Auburn and Florida because our offense can't move the ball which means the season is over.

Instead he throws the Pick, stinks it up to start last week and gives old Danny Boy a shot. If Etling gets better and better and the offense clicks we can thank BH for throwing the pick to lose vs Wisconsin for saving our SEC hopes and our season.

Let the bashing begin.

I understand where you're going, and agree. And I'm in the camp that if we have to sacrifice one game for the good of the season, fine as long as it's non conference.

Onward and upward from here.

sorry but you cannot predict the future with any more accuracy than the posters that are predicting DE will crash and burn.

I have been a BH supporter for awhile and I know he has the skills to be very good at LSU. he just can't control his nerves and overthinks stuff. we will never know, but it is possible that he would have "calmed down" and had a good year.

that being said, I support pulling him and giving DE his shot. he deserves HIS chance. if he can move the chains we might be a very good team. that is; if the OL can protect him.

LSU GrandDad I agree I cannot predict the future which is why I said "may". All I am saying is without the pick to end the Wisconsin game Etling never gets a shot this early in the season it would take an SEC loss and a slow start in the following SEC game before we see a change.

Many blessings in disguises

We had enough of these types of games that Les typically pulls out and everything is okay

It was Jax State.

Let me at least see Etling's first half against State.

I fricking adore threads like this where the OP thinks in his mind he is going to start a thread that's smart, but in the end it's just really damn stupid.

If Harris hadn't thrown the pick and we beat Wisconsin, he would have played the entire Jax State game come hell or high water. If we managed to beat them with Harris at QB, he'd play all of the Miss. State game, repeat until we lost one we shouldn't.

Well no matter how they play from here on in this year it's going to be either Etling or Harris. Miles is not going to go below those two on the depth chart no matter what happens.
