Well they played Alabama pretty close.
It's a win lose program at LSU. You sign good players, you develop them and bam, they leave for the NFL.
If LSU played the way they played today it would be an interesting matchup but I have to say Louisville looked about as bad today as anybody LSU played this year.
If there is one thing I can't stand it's seeing a back from LSU laying on the ground after being tackled and a couple of big offensive linemen standing right by him after blocking nobody. BLOCK SOMEBODY!
If there is no quarterback controversy at LSU the fans will make one up. I know I'm right because there is no quarterback controversy now and some people just can't stand it.
Obviously Etling will be the starter to begin the next season because he is the starter now and nobody is going to be promoted over him just because they practice well. Etling is the only person who can stop Etling from being LSU'Ss quarterback next year. Unless he messes up pretty bad he will start every game next year the same as every starting quarterback on any other team.
Etling is a good quarterback whether this board likes it or not. ,

Fournette has had an ankle injury for several games yet he has played. That means his ankle injury was not enough to keep him from playing. I am getting the feeling that his interest in playing at LSU is over and he's now thinking about the NFL.

I graduated from LSU when LSU won the first national title in Billy Cannon's junior year and I can tell you that was the first year I ever heard the "Go to hell ole Mise" chant.

Too bad Les couldn't teach Pocic to quit killing drives with holding penalties, or teach the dB's to quit letting opposing receivers run completely free, or teach the o line to pass block. Things you would think all these 5 star recruits would be able to learn.
