or someone has something on Miles ???

just for fun, while we are playing the guessing game.

We all seem to have same opionion, but have a lot of different answers. Is this possible? Here in arkansas starting with pee wee , the coaches kids or the rich kids play rb, qb etc everybody says wait until jr high the best players will play no matter who they r , that don't happen, then they say wait until sr high they will play the best players , no matter who they r or who thier parents r, that don't happen! I would think surely by the time college rolls around this would change but does it? Could this be an answer to Jefferson, and Jennings? Are they backed by rich parents, or some big time contributer of lsu?

Seriously?

Who had Beckwith on the bench? Who was calling for him to be in the game?

Who knows why people (coaches) make the decisions they do, but it is not hard to believe that emotions and connections to the players play a role.

Maybe it took a while for reason to override emotion and put the better player in the game.

You think the starting LB was better than his replacement at the beginning of the year?

Seriously?

Jennings did not improve during the year. Deep throwing patterns are basically throw high and hope the WR gets it. And that was where he had the most success. Harris throws bullets and needs to gain strength and stature. He need experience reading defenses, but with the exception of 1 game, Auburn, he was a better QB.

I for one and glad there was an outcry for a change at the LB position. Maybe fans do know a thing or two.

If you think for one minute Beckwith came in because of the fans, you're crazy.

That's good insight. Can you tell me how practice went the week of the Arkansas game? I heard a few things, but wanted to read your evaluation of his game plan execution.

what i cant imagine is how anyone would stop our offense if we have 3 and 4 wr sets with buga in the backfield. hey couldnt stop out run when they knew we were running it.. we might avg. 50 a game with a sick defense

go watch the auburn game. When your starting qb goes 3/14 then it will be easy for any team to stop.

Well he lost his job, then i guess won it back. Both these guys are young, not a 5th year sr. We will just have to let it play out.

Beckwith played in every game. I dont get our fans. The guy got shredded against auburn. He came around. The game slowed down for him and his athletic ability started taking over when he stopped making mistakes. It is pretty fricking simple.

And Welter should have been starting over Beckwith, right? I'll STFU when the coaching staff starts playing the best players and realizes that an experienced bad player is still a bad player. If a player doesn't have the physical tools to compete in the SEC, then they should never take snaps away from one who does.

Jamal adams, Dupree, Quinn, Beckwith, Godchaux, Hunter, White, pocic, Fournette, vadal. These players are all starting over an older player.

for all of you calling for a freshman to start then look at aTm with the no. 1 qb recruit in the nation starting. they are 1-2. you will not win with a true freshman qb in the sec. miles made the call about the PRESENT (win as many games as you can this year) and not the FUTURE. Besides no one talks about how bad our wrs were this year. they couldn't beat one on one coverage. that was a big problem also.

Jennings was consistently inconsistent.

Harris was incredible outside of one first start and he never got another chance to redeem himself.

Harris has worlds more talent.. but Miles is such a puss with his qbs. JT Barrett another freshman threw for 3 ints vs VT and lost an embarrassing game at home.. and then he went on to have a heisman considering season..

Let the more talented guy play when the other guy simply isn't getting it down under 50% completion..

True, but very small sample size.

It amazes me how many posters are willing to deal with losses while Harris grows (because he has a higher ceiling) but are so quick to toss AJ aside.

Willing to be patient for one guy but not the other, all for what we assume is a higher talent level?

because one is highly talented and the other isnt...Good coaches play the gamers, not the guys that fold under pressure but the ones that rise above the pressure...you sound like you have never played organized sports...or B you learned nothing from them....

Every commentator in America is making fun of Les Miles because everyone in America can see it but him. Or at least he shows that he doesnt see it... That kind of retard is on a whole new level then just the drooling kind...
