All sounds good. But he is a FRESHMAN.

Just because he is highly recruited does not mean that he should be on the field from the beginning. Seems our fans want every freshman to start from day one. There are freshman who should and others have to wait.

Fans create a lot of this drama and then these kids start to believe it. People need to let the coaches coach and STFU.
I won't belittle you like i should for bringing this into this thread.
I seen BH play. he has all the tools to be a big time QB.
With all the negative vibes here why not try to be positive.
If these kids start believing in this team the sky is the limit here.
Motivation never hurts and makes players play better.

Here's to HOPE

Our qb situation is bad when we think a true freshman is the answer. I back Harris too, but we should be in a better situation qb wise.

Remember Miles in the NC game with Lee, Hebert and others. Will NOT believe this until it happens.

This is as logical as other things Miles has said regarding the quarterback competition.

I'd rather stick with jennings, he's got more experience and the winning at all costs attitude

Win at all cost attitude? I appreciate his attitude, but that's laying it on a little thick. Wish he could do a little more to facilitate those wins.

This. It just makes me ill to think of what could have been with a good qb this year.

Miles had something against lee , lee was 8-0 when he threw 2 picks and pulled in bama game, and never played again. With offense not crossing the 50 in nc game why else would miles not put lee in? I think same thing now with harris , AJ can throw picks , fumble miss open recievers, etc and miles will sit there and lose instead of changing QB. Arkansas game . We will never know or ever figure it out

I've never liked a Qb so much that has played so little.... I went to the UA game in Tampa and it was love at first sight lol... The dude can flip his wrist and the ball goes 50 yards on a line

Tom Brady split time with other QBs on multiple teams for YEARS through college and pros.

Let that sink in.

I like that post.
This kid has tons of potential, in the end thats what every great player started with.

And Welter should have been starting over Beckwith, right? I'll STFU when the coaching staff starts playing the best players and realizes that an experienced bad player is still a bad player. If a player doesn't have the physical tools to compete in the SEC, then they should never take snaps away from one who does.

This guy was so motivated during recruitment. He tried to get all the top recruits here. He was a ball of energy, all positive.
Wasn't there some question about Harris not putting in the time to learn the playbook, watch tape and do other things that might have pushed him past Jennings? I recall reading that on this site during the season ….
