The young excuse doesn't fly anymore at the end of the season. This team has been inconsistent in so many areas but somehow finds a way to win despite several long slumps in the lineup, a third base coach that's broken a tecord for getting runners out at home, and a pitching staff that is more like a box of chocolates.

I said clutch.. not desperation swings that happens to fall our way. We've been extremely lucky late in games, but most of those we wouldn't have needed the possum if we didn't give away stupid outs earlier in the game.
