if it's the same system we've been having you can forget baseball. we've been getting hammered for a week and a half with one period of 2 and half days of no rain. if not for that brief respite my home would have gone under and it's not over yet. they are predicting we still have this crap until Tuesday. it's one band of showers after another off of the gulf. fortunately, most of them aren't heavy. we've had two that dumped 7 inches in four hours and 11 inches in 7 hours. I have never seen a system hang around for this long. many people over here are flooded out; in mmost cases they are the same people that got flooded out a few weeks ago. I really feel sorry for them. I think FEMA is gonna buy them out. that is, if they have flood insurance. if not, they are just SOL.

David Bernard of WVUE said they ain't playing any baseball at the Box tonight. He said BR needs to worry about flash flooding.

Honestly reminds me of 4th of July weekend 2012 in the FL panhandle. It rained without stopping for 5 or 6 days straight. Same type system. It stopped raining the day everyone was returning home

Crazy, I'm less than an hour from stadium and it hasn't rained a drop. I thought I was going to be able to come home and watch some baseball.
