Wanna address the tarp issue. After putting out and putting up the tarp well over 10 times this weekend, the last time rolling up the tarp wasn't the best it could've been, and one side was too close to the end. One of the straps got caught in the pipe and it unraveled in the most sinful way I've seen in my 5 years here.
Luckily the hiccup wasn't time consuming enough to cause substantial damage to the field. If we had shite like we had last year's regional the repair would've taken at least 15 more minutes.
I'd also like to take this time to say that if you're a student and genuinely want to join and help while being compensated with a meal ticket and also subjecting yourself to 12+ hour days and periodically looking like a jackass, please contact our Twitter.
