I hope they have nothing left and I'm not saying you're wrong, but we've all seen it play out like this before.

Amen to that. 6 outs, 6 runs, free baseball, win in 11.

top 8, Freeman leading off
strike, 0-1
just foul down the left field line, 0-2
high chopper to SS, can't scoop it, no play, infield hit!

The problem is that this lineup is capable of going dead against mediocre pitching. Rice may not have anything left, but they are still capable of putting up plenty of runs on our arms and we are capable of laying an egg on offense.
Getting hits hasn't been an issue tonight. We just keep leaving runners stranded and making defensive mistakes. I really think the Tigers will roll them tomorrow.

I have a want to bat around this inning

Houston had nothing left either and you see what they did in our final game. They will ride any arm that didn't throw over 100 pitches 2 days ago tomorrow.

Valek is not going to win us the game tomorrow.
But he might be able to get them through the order one time or so. If Valek can give three good innings, that's a bridge to Latz, Bugg and Newman.

Sounds like I need to research this piece of shite some more. You got any more anecdotes and stories?

Freeman gets on... that's a start boys

No you're being irrational.. This game isn't on the coach
Maybe not totally, but I've seen him try these crazy personnel decisions for a few years now. Always try g to outsmart himself, rather than rely on talent. Should have gone to Bain, Reynolds, then Newman.

This needs to happen during the game then. Show him for what he is. Hope they have to carry the pitcher out on a stretcher. It's all on their coach and the world should know it.

Untrue. Pitching depth was their strength, but we made their weak bats look potent.
