He's making mistakes. Deichmann takes an absolute meatball he hangs 3-2 that deichmann should have out in the west stadium parking lot, and pap states at a belt high dead center flat fastball.

I think it's time to see what Latz is capable of doing tomorrow and how long we can stretch him. I know they want to ease him in but we need at least 3-4 innings from him if possible.

Rice is playing like a wildfire today, but they are going to have a hard time with pitching tomorrow, no matter what. Even if someone looks good for a bit, they are going to tire quickly and their coach is going to have to pull all the strings perfectly. They survived, but he still had a couple of rough pitching changes earlier tonight.

They started someone who would have been considered one of those non-pitchers today, who couldn't throw strikes, and we were still too not give them easy ways out of jams. Ump screwed us out of 1 or 2 in the first and we didn't respond well.

This team is just not that talented. They made the cute "Rally Possum" run, but the offense has reverted to the shitshow it was early when they could not get a clutch hit.
