yeah makes sense but I don't think you should bank yet on USCe to cotton. Cap one could screw that

I would expect sc to cap one and then it's up to the outback whether they want Missouri or take a team with a worse record

I agree it makes more geographical and finical sense for the cap one to take USCe.

I could see the Outback passing on Mizzou to choose A&M.

a two loss team being passed for a 4 loss team. I would forever hate manziel if they did this.

Anything is possible but I don't know why the outback would pass for an 11 win team for an 8 win team that lost 2 straight

Outback Bowl's selection history is very strange. They've taken 7 win teams before over 9 win ones.

Missouri can't drop past the Cotton this year right? The requirement in OP explained it. So if SC does get picked by Cap1, then Mizzou has to be selected for Cotton?

Which means Outback likely for LSU, unless I missed something.

I'm going to wait for the morning to try and think about all of this OSU MSU much more now on my mind.

I'll stick with

Cap one USCe
Outback Mizzou
Cotton LSU

after that who cares

Mizzou can go to one of three bowls

1) Cap one
2) Outback
3) Cotton

Just to clarify, you are right - they cannot drop below cotton but the outback is not below the cotton. For sec east teams like Missouri it is actually above the cotton and the outback can take Missouri if they want them

Thought protection was in place for SECCG loser to go to either Cap1 or Cotton. It had been reported this week, could be wrong though. I'd guess:

Sugar - Auburn
Orange - Alabama
Capital One - SC
Cotton - Missouri
Outback - LSU
Chick Fil A - Texas A&M
Gator - Georgia

Eta saw lsumatt's post, thanks for clarifying. So in my guesses you could switch LSU and Missouri. What if Capital One takes Missouri?

If cap one takes mizzou my first reaction would have been sc to outback and Lsu to cotton. But sc went to outback last year and have made it clear they don't want outback and have been begging them to pass on them so they can play in the cotton.

My guess is the outback doesn't take a team that doesn't want to go

The only reason we would go to the gator is that we would bitch our way out of the chicken. Chicken picks first

Carolina should ge the Cap1, LSU the Cotton and Mizzou the Outback. I don't see why this is so difficult. Makes the most sense for everyone.

We aren't going to Chick-Fil-A bowl. I can pretty much guarantee that.

for OSU to go to the Sugar they would have to be passed by orange twice to make it.

Oregon has looked like crap recently
UCF is going to the fiesta they are the team no-one wants but is forced to be picked
Clemson will probably go to the orange but you need two teams more attractive for Ohio State not to go the orange.

After this I say Oregon to play Bama in Sugar.

order goes like this

1) Orange
2) Sugar
3) Orange
4) Sugar
5) Fiesta
