It’s important but not the single biggest thing. Myles coming back was bigger.

Three of our six losses were by a combined 14 points. Even with all of the injuries we were a decent play caller and a half arse O-line from beating Alabama, Arkansas, & Auburn. I don’t think we’re that far off with a few decent portal grabs. Not saying we’re competing for the SEC but we’re not looking at a long term rebuild either.

Close but I don’t think, unless he goes to Bama

Despite how good he was this past season that did not help our record. He is fantastic but your logic is flawed here. We still lost to Auburn despite him having a good game, we lost to UCLA despite him having a good game. We were getting blown out by Kentucky when he got hurt.

Naw, he’s good but we beat a&m without him and loss to UCLA with him. He needs to come back though.

If he decides to leave, we should just close down the program.

Boutte is like Sting he needs no stats to be a top ten pick . All LSU needs to do is get the money . No money no honey no Boutte .

I am not sure why anyone assumes a scheme next year has been set. It will be coach Kelly’s. He has made it clear he will adjust to teams strengths like a good coach does. Do we have the RB and TEs to run what his OCs typically do. Not yet. Wait and see what the portal and coaches bring in terms of players but my guess is we will still be rich in WR and therefore have a scheme that uses them to our advantage. It should be good for the WR too.

For OP. I agree we need him to stay this next year. And with this coach and team he will be a standout.

Nah.. finding D tackles and a nose guard dictates that. But Boutte sure makes the offense hum!

As we have seen with everything the past month it comes down to money. LSU must know the amount needed to retain Mr. Boutte's services. Will they make the connections to make that happen.

Didn’t he tear his Achilles? That’s not an easy injury to come back from.

Dude, you need to slow the F down. I think BK was a great hire, but we are not good enough to compete for the SEC or a national title next year.
