Another big issue is Max and his WRs do not see the field. As a QB you should have a good indication of where you are going with the ball presnap. At this point I don’t understand why Max is not dictating the pace. Terrible coaching.

To me it sounds like he wasn’t very thrilled about almost the entire first series be running plays.

We definitely came out looking to run the ball.

Peetz is showing all the bad signs of NFL guys trying to coach college kids.

Over-complicated offenses that college doesn't have the time or talent to implement, which, ironically, creates a need for a super-simplified offense.

A huge need for control, which leads to late calls and removing any options for the QB.

Late calls in b/c of the 2 factors above.

He said we need to call better plays in the beginning. Almost the entire first series were rushing plays. It sounds like he didn’t like that too much.

He probably wasn’t, but that was predictable from O showing his cards again about the need to run outside. O likely helped script the plays this week.

That’s how the offense was run under Burrow and he was always dictating the pace and for the most part had defenses on their heels.
We are running the ABO Anti-Burrow Offense where the plan is to let the defense dictate what plays we run.

It didn't happen as frequently as it did last week but it still happened.

That’s because McNeese played us pretty straight up. They didn’t throw a ton of exotic looks at us.

2 big staples of the Joseph Ebeneezer Brady offense were tempo and stretching the field with the deep passing game. Burrow going vertical for Chase and Marshall while Jefferson and Moss ate underneath.

Max doesn’t really bring that vertical threat and it’s taking forever to get the play in THEN they’re doing check with me

our QBs right now do not seem to audible after pre snap reads

even brady had us hurry up to LOS... get a read........
if D audibled he would then counter and send down to burrow. burrow did not do all audibles himself.

this is what peetz is trying to do.

brady did not have the amount of horizontal stretch runs like canada but we had horizontal stretch throws to WR's. you go wide then go north south at whatever level, short, intermediate and long. opens up north south runs as well.

last night we had zone reads, WR screens, and jet sweeps. all stuff done under brady. somebody said we had a RPO but i did not see it. play calling was much better using concepts from brady's pro style spread.

we simply cannot execute worth a frick so what we run almost does not matter at this time. The O line is horrendous. QB's are showing youth.

Peetz sucks really bad so far and the offense has no rhythm at all, It is not enjoyable to watch and we're relying on talent alone only against a lesser team like McNeese. Peetz may be in way over his head. This is bad.

D looked good against a weak team.

5 TD's in 2 games

That aside, agree that he needs 10+ touches a game. Get him the ball.

Let him coach

He has NO CLUE how to coach. The players are onto Peetz. You can tell that they are wondering what the hell he is doing.

He had over 10 targets last night! He had 5 catches, 3-4 drops, and 3-4 thrown over his head or bounced in front of him.
