I understand shep is a great team guy and everything, but It does appear Boone can actually catch the football quite well

Shep just seems like an athlete without a position. I know if I were qb (and of course I'm
Not) I wouldn't look his way very much on the field. He's not very consistent at all.

The other WR's were all impressive tonight IMO

He has a lot of physical tools, but because he can't catch the ball consistently, the coaches try to get him touches by lining him up in the backfield. When he lines up in the backfield, everyone in the stadium knows the play is going to him...including the defense.

But Les fought hard to bring Shep back.

I see your point and agree to an extent but I'm going to trust the coaches on the depth chart decisions.

who's OBD?

i know who OBJ is, but OBD?

Landry is our best pure WR on this squad... Beckham gives us a break away threat every time he touches the ball, and Boone has become a much improved player over time....

Shep.... not so much... STILL WAITING for him to put it together.... biggest disappointment that played out his eligibility at LSU of my lifetime yet.....

Look, Shep is the most under utilized player we have. He got one rush. one catch for 11 yards. He had the TD called back... that's really unfortunate and yes the drop.

The man needs MORE touches. He'll never produce if he can't get his own rhythm and confidence up.

I don't know if shep is ever going to get "it"

He's a likeable guy and a senior, but I don't know if he's a WR threat on this team

I agree with this. He's a great guy, but every season people are saying this is the season shep breaks out. It's the first game, but it hasn't happened in previous seasons and I don't see it happening this season either.

If Shep'a TD doesn't get called back because of the penalty then this dumb arse thread doesn't get started.
