Wheeden is 26 years old. Which means that 8 years ago, he was 18 years old.
He was probably recruited by Les Miles to play for Oklahoma State back then.

I'm sure there are a subset of OSU fans who are bitter about Miles departure, just as a similar subset of fans here are bitter with Saban. Apparently Pickens fits himself in this category. His money has bought him a pretty big bullhorn to speak his mind.

I hope you do. It's funny how money can really change a school. It hasn't been too long ago that Oklahoma State went to Troy University to play(big schools don't reguarly come to Troy) and got their butts beat, and now they may be playing for the national championship.

Pickens is going to be seriously disappointed when Oklahoma beats Okie St. and they don't get to go to the big show. I suspect that it will be LSU and Alabama.

I bet Pickens wishes he had Miles for Bedlam. In 105 years, OSU has won 16. Miles was 2-2 after taking over one of the shittiest programs in the country. By the way, they haven't won since he left.

As I remember they were glad to get rid of Les. Les's character is unquestionable. Remember Boone bet on wind power so take that into consideration when considering his decision making.

Pickens completely controls this university and he is trying his best to 'buy' a championship. I don't know if anything illegal is going on there, but Pickens answers to no one.
He has put in all he can for facilities, stadium, etc., will he move to purchasing players next?
