That’s not a bold prediction. All you did was predict the opposite of what’s happening currently. That’s a lazy prediction.

That's not how any of this works.

Pitching will be an adventure for us the rest of the way. The good thing is that we have the best pitcher in baseball and one of the best offenses in baseball, and that covers up a lot of issues, especially in a bracket setting.

You expecting something drastically different from what we've seen all year? This pitching staff outside of Skenes is average to below average. Not sure they can improve enough between now and then to be formidable.

He wont.

but I trust his process for years to come.

He has not been great game-to-game, and pitch-by-pitch. Guys like Floyd and Little have not gotten better. They aren't magically going to become that all of a sudden.

If Johnson can continue to build Hurd back into a reliable starter, LSU will have a shot.

They are getting worse and I don't think any amount of coaching is going to fix it.

LSU is going to have to slug their way through the postseason. As this weekeend revealed, that plan can backfire but it's really the only card they have.

Only when they get rid of CPM's deadwood, and their own over evaluated mistakes.

Floyd is much better than last year. He still needs to avoid the 1 inning mental breakdown. Dont know much about Little's last season at Vandy. A misconception in baseball is only batting can get hot. Well pitching can get hot too. The talent is there. So if you lack talent there isnt really much you can do.

I agree and still do think Hurd when eventually make his way back to your Sunday starter.

Wouldn’t it be better if no bold prediction that the opposite of what we’re seeing will happen?

Interesting. Floyd has a 6.57 ERA in SEC games

Would love to see you support that

After what Floyd and Little did against Ole Miss, I thought the pitching staff was taking shape and on their way to coming together for a postseason run. But after these last two weekends, we’re back to square one, unfortunately.

Ole Miss has the worst offense in the conference. No one was interested in hearing that though

pitching numbers across the league are inflated this year. Its obvious when watching him pitch his breaking stuff is better and he has more control over it. Still not a finished product either.

Floyd is a mental case at first sign of trouble and loses command really easy. I think his off speed has improved but really you’re just hoping to throw him out there and a few innings stick. That’s not going to cut it in supers.
