Actually Kelly handled it correctly. He said Jayden said no to Pickett getting 5 so he didn’t give it to him

Why not? It was a stupid hire from day 1. Anyone not wearing purple and gold glasses saw it coming. He gave us hope for a split second with the OT Alabama victory, which would have bought any other coach enough grace to not be fired 3 years later. He was an unlikable a-hole at Notre Dame too.

Or blame LSU admin for not just honoring impactful players with a ring of honor rather than jersey retirement.
I’m good with Cannon being the only jersey retirement.
Do that and there never would have been a JD issue.
