With the rumblings of folks underwhelmed with PM as head baseball coach, I was pondering who we would replace him with and BD came to mind. He appears to be doing well at UNO and beat LSU with less talent. Thoughts on eventually getting BD to come back home? If not as HC, then maybe HC in waiting...ie Jimbo did as FSU. I know the coaching positions are limited in baseball compared to football so the HC in waiting is probably not applicable here.

Sure. Anyone who can motivate and teach and hitting approach is fine with me.

I love how so many of you are fine with Blake Dean because he beat LSU twice and because he is an LSU alum. Dean is leading a Southland Conference program that is 16-13 on the season and 6-6 in conference, including losing 5 of their last 6.

Only LSU fans could wish an opening in one of the top baseball jobs in the country and then fantasy fill it with a guy that hasn't even sniffed a conference title.
Going to school here is not a qualification for the job. Skip Bertman had no connections to LSU before he was hired here.

Yea, UNO beat LSU with some scrappy players not primadonnas. LSU SHOULD beat UNO 11 OUT OF 10 times.
