Gotta remember he was told basically he would need to be retained. He didn't get the opportunity to get his own DC..I'm aggravated like everyone else but give it time

Who told him that?

We gave him a sizable pay bump too right?

Should have let him go to Tulane

You think LSU would make Lane keep Baker if he didn’t want him? You’re funny

Did you make this up in your head? because it was said the opposite. Lane courted him to stay and he stayed. I'm sure Lane is regretting that decision right now because Baker is responsible for both losses.

Don't want to hear anyone on here complaining about Lane going for 4th downs rest of the season. I can about guarantee all trust was lost in Baker last night and Kiffin is going to drive us crazy with 4th down plays.

This is what actually happened. Not sure why OP is trying to make excuses for Lane by making up lies.

Can’t wait for Lane to hire another Pete Golding once Baker leaves…

Baker is practically stealing from LSU at this point. His defenses never show up when needed. Would love to see the stats of his defenses against top 25 teams in his time at LSU.

Yep. Although I may puke after seeing how bad it probably is.

Lane is not all that great either based on what we have seen so far, so I’m not so sure he has room to talk.

The main reason Lane didn’t go to FLA was because their AD wasn’t going to give him control of his management staff.Do you think LSU was going to tell him who to hire.

The same Pete Golding that beat us this year and has a currently top 10 ranked team?
