Good to see that he didn't get divorced. I was concerned that we had another O issue

It’s called being objective. No one on this board predicted lsu to have 4 losses before the season started.

Some of us said 8-4/9-3 (ceiling) because of breaking in a new QB and defensive coordinator plus losing the production from the running game.

All of that smelled transition.

CBK should start with a million and then match individual donor contributions.

He’s got the $

I wonder if he’s the first coach to do this.

Will Wade wrote personal checks prior to NIL.

Kelly must read TD. Many have called for his paycheck to be donated back all season

We are not. Not even close. Top 10 collective, just not Oregon, Texas or Ohio State. They've raised several million the last week after CBK rallied the NIL troops.

From Dick Vitale and others (including LSU fans) acting like that was the worst transgression ever, to Brian Kelly literally donating some of his own money to pay players. What a time to be alive!!!

LSU fans didn’t have a problem with Wade spending his own money to get players . LSU fans had a problem with Wade being a moron , and not smart enough to cover his trail!

Big time Kudos to BK. Putting up 7 figures to help get a roster that can challenge for a national championship.

We have two starting wide receivers that under 5'10

How much talent do you think we have?

Glad to see he is doing the right thing here. It will help everyone else feel more confident when they go to pledge funds.

I respect that. 10% of gross earnings is a damn solid payment.

And to think, Will Wade is still chastised for (alleged but not proven) paying LSU basketball recruits out of his own pocket.

Wade did things that are still against the rules. It is the same thing others were doing but he had the misfortune of being caught on a wiretap and then being clumsy about it paying a former player's (not even an LSU player) baby momma.

Vitale aside, no LSU fan thought that, some of us just thought he made some pretty silly misteps for which he was fired.

o Brian Kelly literally donating some of his own money to pay players.

Are you being purposefully wrong to stir up reactions or are you this ignorant of what is happening?

Kelly is matching up to 1 million dollars of donations to Bayou traditions, which can pay players, with a donation to TAF, which cannot pay players. If he did it to Bayou Traditions it would be against the rules and probably get LSU on probation and him fired.

Indeed, we get to see all the folks who have no clue but think they know everything creating awful threads by the dozen.

“ actually market the collective.”

I get emails about it all the time.. I have season Fb,Mbb. Wbb,gym and see the advertising every game.. I go to coaches talks and coaches always remind people of it..

Not saying you are wrong but what marketing would you suggest..

Btw I have already gotten an email from lsu about the BK thing and asking for money

So none of his donation will go to actual NIL, right?

Money laundering at its finest. And doing it with middle class people’s money at that.

Watching Kelly in that press conference, you can sense the frustration with this whole process
