Dear Chadboy504:
Step away from the internet and go outside and breathe.
Sincerely,
Me and I bet most of the Rant.

quote:Regarding the settled buyout rumors... I think it depends on what he wants to do.
Don't think that is true.
WE might blast him heavily, but the fact remains- he won 10, 10, and 9 games here his first 3 years, after Orgeron had run the program into the ditch. you can safely figure an additional win to each of those years if his teams opened with a cupcake instead of a hungry P4 team those seasons (thanks, Verge).
He did as well at Notre Dame, when prior to him arriving there, they were in a rut.
Point is, he's not toxic. He didn't mesh well with LSU, and his team stumbled this year. We canned him because we were disappointed with where things are now as opposed to what we demand.
He could easily take a reduced (but still sizable) pot of gold, go find a place where he fits better for less pay, and coach a couple more seasons. Somewhere like Boston College (I don't know their situation, just an example). Get them to 8-9 wins a couple years, and go out with a good taste in his mouth.

The same crowd that supported, defended Les Miles for Years before his Granite like Hard Head got him Fired.....are the same people "falling" for this letter which is 93% a professionally choreographed Public Relations stunt.
I'm not "dogging" Kelly. He's not a "bad" guy and was/is not a horrible coach. Nor is he stupid. But "his" letter did not fool me. The PR Firm or Image Consultant that "constructed" the message is simply sub-par at best. They and their "letter", which Kelly at least read & certainly approved, are similar in scale + level as his Coaching ability and effort; which is N O T "Big League"!
Brian Kelly always reminded me as being more of a Politician than Coach. Most politicians are dishonest. And some have a gift for gab. Like the liberal MSM who cover for them & their Party, the "masses" are unable to "see or read behind" their fake lines, words & overall "message".
Again, I'm not judging Brian Kelly or "the masses". He "is what he is" & "they are who/what they are". It's been a very hard, difficult lesson to learn, but over the last 5+ years I finally had to simply "accept" reality.
Reading behind the Lines is not an easy, normal/natural or automatic process for most. Vitally important and abundant recent examples abound. It was profoundly unbelievable - even surreal - to watch, observe as these examples of "messages/information/data" were "released" (like Kelly's letter) to the public over the last 5+ years. It was painstakingly difficult to see how simple, easy it was to manipulate so many people. Me, like many here, watched carefully constructed media reports be accepted - then manifest, control & overtake so many people! But after seeing, experiencing & "witnessing" so many seemingly normal, otherwise smart people "fall" for the "targeted, programmed, repetitive messaging" that was foisted upon the masses....."talking points, news" that should have sent red flags up to most people as being "highly suspect"....instead became "susceptible" subjects, targets. Despite much of the programming being so obviously, glaringly false, illogical, deceptive, dangerous (even fatal) & easily disproved.........the sad reality is that the general public (or fanbase) bought it.
Stop, Think & Look again @ Kelly's letter. Do you not see the reversed background purple/gold colors, graphics, centered & balanced lines, orderly flow/spacing throughout?! How about the little line of fancy, tidy "script" @ the top? Do you think Kelly was able to construct, produce all of the above? It is a choreographed, released product (presentation). Just like the words, sentences contained within it. When a letter is genuine, original & sent from the heart - it is "hearfelt"! Notice how "no where" do you see him take responsibility for ANYTHING or apologize for the many facts, truth which have surfaced which led to his firing & his failure, betrayal to his Players, Team, Fans & LSU. There was NO Humility shown in that Letter!

That was kind and classy of him. He didn’t have to write that.

Seems somewhat genuine? I was expecting, “eat shite!”
