…is without question his low point during his time at LSU.

That is a horrific loss, no other way to slice it.

As many have mentioned, a win there and LSU is a damn near lock to make the CFP. Brutal.

Dumb. The defense played their first game and the offense couldn’t finish… not really a coaching issue as much as a complete inability to finish

Stabilized us firmly at 9-3.

What do you mean it was the defense’s first game?

Could have been worse and lost to Troy at home?

Not really. That was a talented team with a healthy NFL-level running back who had been hurt through several games. Effectively, they were a good team playing poorly until that point. USC was a bad team that played one really good game.

Baker. Then a QBs first game as a starter. Lots of firsts

Wasn’t USC in the exact same situation?

A&M was a bad team

they were 1-6 in the SEC 4-7 before they played us.

Not at all. Most of tRant has told me we’re finishing 1-3 so we would be 8-4 at best

Like everyone, I would like to see us looking better. But if you look around, there really are no complete teams. There are no dominant teams.

I personally think it’s probably the transfer portal which prevents program building and stockpiling talent, but for whatever reason there isn’t anyone who looks consistently unbeatable.
Maybe Oregon does, I haven’t watched them.

But in that light, we look better than if you compare to historical standards. Essentially, nobody is as good as their historical standard

Yeah- he’s laid a few eggs. Each FSU loss was ugly and humiliating.

His inability to have the team ready for week 1 is his biggest flaw.

And it won’t be any easier next year

Our loss to aTm in 2022 was the equivalent of aTm’s loss to South Carolina last night.

I know the season isn't over, but it's beginning to look like 3 losses is the norm with him. He just cannot make timely adjustments and has trouble getting his teams prepared. Losing to USC was just awful.
