"Bitch I'm from Louisiana" is MUCH more embarrassing than "Neck".

The songs that our administration choose to pipe in or allow the band to play is warped.

Why is it more embarrassing?

I agree completely.
Neck has a great groove and the adlib fits in perfectly and is funny because it's outrageous and creates ridiculous anthropomorphised imagery in the mind.
Bitch I'm from Louisiana is just a crappy rap pop song like the thousands of others just like it.
Like those lame Saints Super Bowl songs, it's not creative or unique in any way

I agree. I fricking hate that song and it doesn't help it's played 5727523572099 times

The song does suck. It’s like nails on a chalkboard to almost everyone listening to it, except our players. So we tolerate it.
Even if you’re one of the few who have convinced themselves to like it as a pump-up song, you’re being dishonest with yourself if you think the song is good. It’s objectively bad. Repetitive. Even if you like the words, you can’t even hear/understand them.
It’s not the message I object to. I can get right behind the message. I like Neck’s message too. But the song is insulting. Not to me. To music.

Yep.

Yeah I guess it depends on if you are imagining toonces or actual Mike the Tiger. Because the song is so ridiculous in it's nature, toonces is who pops into my mind when it's suggested that the opposing team should perform fellatio on our mascot. So nix to the bestiality and anthropomorphised it is.
