Take a look at his historical stats.

Guy was a great hitter at AZ.

Comes here and bubkus.

Situation where SEC pitching just that much greater than Pac 12?

He went from being a complimentary piece to one that was supposed to be relied on and it messed him up mentally.

I mean look at the PAC. It's a 2-4 bid league. The SEC has 11 teams that are most likely going to play postseason ball.

Seems like he is middle of the pack in the SEC.
It happens.

Why does this bother you?

No one is bashing anyone. Pointing out statistical differences and comparing to current production is not bashing. It’s facts.

Additionally, I’m in the camp that these “kids” have given up being treated with “kid gloves” when they started legally getting paid.

Suck it up buttercup.

Yeah, he and Trav are in a mental funk. I think Bingham is fine, hes streaky though and seems to be confused at times.

I dont think he's been as bad as some do, obviously.

If Bingham had tools he would have been drafted after his junior year. Getting him in the portal was the OF equivalent of getting Nipolt last year as an IF.

His hitting at AZ against bad pitching at the bottom of the PAC was probably what made his average high.

There's a very large difference between pac shite pitching and SEC pitching. Every dude in the SEC is basically low to mid 90's that can locate and mix pitches.

Sunbelt is better than the PAC12 these days.

It is amazing that Oregon State has been able to keep their good baseball players. Most quality Oregon State and Wash State athletes have gone into the Portal. Those two athletic programs are gonna drop off the cliff unless they can get the Big 12 to take them in.

I bet Bingham was given some advice to bulk up a bit and hit for more power. He had 10 homeruns at Arizona while batting .360. Someone got in his ear and told him to change his approach a bit and try to help his draft stock is my bet.

I read where the Beavers are playing an independent schedule in baseball in 2025. I thought the football and/or basketball team was playing a WAC or Big West schedule?
I think those Long Beach, Cal Fullerton, etc baseball programs are at least as good if not better than most of the Pac-10 anyway.
