With the news of Donovan out as head coach in OKC, should LSU have Donovan on their radar considering the implications with Coach Wade?

Donovan would likely make the move back to the SEC for a team with a quality roster.

Not being a smart elick, seriously asking. Why is Wade gone? Been going through bullshite since they said he paid 11 players. And also i dont think Donovan would come here because an NBA team would pay him.

Wade will likely last this season but, it's coming. The PR campaign is on strong in favor of Wade (cough OTB), but rational people know it's coming.

Curious to know why you’d think he’s coming back to the SEC? Donovan’s roots are with Petino in the northeast and he’s been in the Midwest for awhile with Kansas likely about to open up. LSU isn’t firing Wade, if we do we’ll be on probation and Donovan wouldn’t come here.

Wade isn't gone and LSU has no reason to let him go at the moment. But you have to keep your options open, right?

Wade isn't going anywhere unless he leaves on his own terms which probably isn't likely

Roger.

I see him having a huge step down if he cant keep it together here. Might take his bling bling off if it comes to it.

He will have multiple nba offers. He’s not coming back to cbb and if he did, it wouldn’t be for the LSU job.

BD won’t last over a year! He’ll be gone if LSU decides to fire Wade at the end of this year. Either fire him now and go after BD or go all in for Wade! FTR I’m for Wade!

We don't have an opening, nor do we want one.

I wanted LSU to try to lure Donovan back to the college game three years ago.A lot of people scoffed , but Donovan never really seemed a good NBA fit. I wanted LSU to at least take a shot, but there was never any indication they did so.

If there is a strong indication the NCAA will hit the program then they need to move swiftly to pursue Donovan. The problem is does Donovan want to take over a program facing possible sanctions. That being said, he would certainly find LSU's rich basketball history enticing and certainly in a better spot than he found a moribund Florida program.
