Here's a list of charities for the hurricane with ratings based on how much goes towards charity.

Donation should go to a charity helping with Hurricane Michael. We're flying the plane in Florida.

my girl needs a new marucci softball bat if you are really desperate and have too much funds left over.

All Hands Volunteers sounds about as good as any. Maybe someone can call to make sure they are helping with Hurr. Michael Relief.

Actually I like that and the fund for the VetSchool. They do a lot of horse rescues in disasters. They specialize in flood injuries to horses. It could continue to support LSU, help flood and hurricane victim's animals and honor Devin White's love of horses.

Flood injuries in horses

Hurricane Katrina response was epic.

And to further add to my last suggestion, Judge Holden, this is your baby as of now, you take our suggestions and you make the call as to what you'd like to do with the funds you are raising.

Can we just send excess donation straight to the Gulf County Sheriff’s Office/first responders?

Great idea!

As tempting as that is . . . .

I think that would earn me a trip to Club Fed. I'll choose one of the suggested charities and post it when I get the GoFundMe up.

I do lean toward the Cajun Navy. Does someone know which one of the Cajun Navies is legit, and preferably which one responded to the recent hurricane in Florida?

Everyone involved in this should have lifetime ban immunity.

Hurricane Michael wasn't as much of a flooding type event. I don't see a huge connection between the event and that venue.

United Cajun Navy and Cajun Navy 2016 make multiple deliveries with supplies to disaster areas. They have been working in the Carolinas and Florida.

Yes, but I only see this as a reaction to the gump's campaign. I have seen Hurricane Micahel fund raising flyers all over the LSU campus. Ultimately, it judge's call, I support whatever he comes up with, I just want to see the banner on gameday.
