Beating Georgia was the best surprise of the year. What a great game. I totally had that one circled as a loss at the beginning of the season.

Our complete and utter inability to run anything resembling a screen.

I've honestly never seen a team that bad at such a fundamental play type.

Running game and the defense left me wanting. Very surprised at how out of sorts the defense looked on Saturday night.

Basically handcuffed LSU on third down all season.

There was no rhyme or reason for the offensive personnel management. Lanard should have gotten much more playing time.

None. They gave Giles the number 7. I mean wtf what were they looking at?

KOs into the end zone is a good one. I had forgotten that was ever an issue since it was so good this year.

9-3 and one play away from being 10-2 despite being ranked #87 in yards per play on offense.

Defense has forced a lot of turnovers, offense has protected the ball, FG, kickoff, and punting has been very good to great.

On the negative side, punt returns and offensive line pass blocking along with the WR drops.

One big surprise: the total ineffectiveness of LSU's return game. No punt or kick return for a TD for the first time since 2013. Return game ranked in the 100s.

The more we list stats like this one, the more I’m convinced an act of god intervened to have us almost 10-2.

Last Year was a bad year for this.

I’ll add:
Winning a game on a last second FG.
How horrible the OLine played
How big the gap is between our experienced and inexperienced guys.
A pass to a tight end.

The atrocious offensive line.

That's not really a surprise. Everyone expressed concern about the O line early in the season. Unfortunately those concerns materialised.

Very surprised at how out of sorts the defense looked on Saturday night.

Can you name the starters that missed the game? You do realize that back ups who may have played 5 min. a game were forced to play 5 hrs. without a back up to relieve them? Do you know anything about football? Dave Aranda played a good team with a very short hand and with the other guys having help from someone who was not playing. The officials.
