What the hell did he do to the WRs? Forget the scheme and offense, the WRs were completely different this year. Luckily, we own the Juggs machine and Marshall and Chase will be back and hopefully can implement whatever Brady taught this past year.

We will be in good shape, just crazy to see the drops nearly completely stop in the WR corp this year.

That is my concern. The details taught to these WRs by Brady that only Brady recognizes. Detailed things like plant foot location, hand placement, route tempo, etc. Hopefully that translated to Coach E.

Whoever coached WRs next year need to make sure they keep doing the juggs drills they were doing.

Some of that was Jack Marucci and his work with advanced data and analytics.

Also the summer of 10,000 passes.

You said it much better than I did, it's all the intangibles that the receivers learned in one offseason. big props to the players but big props to Brady.

THIS. And... how to make the right route-reads, that are the same right reads that the QB made. Consistently, in a snap.

This is the key for keeping this train rolling.

Those reads are why last second pre-snap defensive changes, and to some degree post-snap (i.e. disguises) had severely decreased effectiveness on us.

You don't have to guess and call the right play, you just have to read and literally attack their weakness... every damn play. If Sun Tzu was a coach this is how he would pressure the enemy.

Only Brady?

Nobody else in the entire world except Brady (and YOU of course) know these things?

Yeah let's hope that that poor old dummy coach E who has been around football for decades is smart enough to learn these, right?

Seriously where do you tards come up with crap like this?

Hopefully all the drills translate and are just kept in place. He was criminally underrated as a WR coach.

Well there is an article that explains all of it, goal post drills, open door drills, tunnel vision goggles, juggs machine. That aspect wont be hard, the footwork and all that will be where we need someone to step up and teach!

I think he came in and taught them how to run NFL Routes and techniques. Our receivers were clearly "more open" this year.

He eliminated their psychological limits.

I heard about a lot of unique drills that are now part of our “institutional knowledge”. Hopefully that helps.

Well it must've been something Brady did, because these same receivers were dropping passes and were never open last season

I'm not saying that. Brady brought in the system. I think it's a fair assumption that Brady taught the WRs and QB the cues to communicate non verbally and other techniques to fit the system.

I saw Brady as the specialist under Coach E. His job was to implement the details of the passing game. Does Coach E recognize the details of the passing game? Sure. But Coach E's responsibility is more general as the OC. Coach E was relying on the details of the passing game to be taught and carried out by Coach B.

It's analogous to a general surgeon and an anesthesiologist. A general surgeon can carry out the anesthesia in a pinch but wouldn't you rather and anesthesiologist, the specialist, do it?

I don't know what the numbers are but I feel like the number of drops this year were WAY down from last year. That's a testament to the work the WRs put in off the field starting one year ago.

Hopefully Marshall and chase will take a big part in the development of the younger guys also. They can step up and implement the same thing Brady did. They can lead in a big way. A lot of the younger guys may also take that upon them selves. They know what Brady did. They were there. They can build on their own. Maybe It becomes a wide receiver tradition to train in that way and compete with each other. It will be nice to have a coach help push that agenda and one sure we will. The coaches know what works. But I would hope the guys in that room show some leadership and elevate theirs and everyone else’s play.
