Feel much better about Aranda and Canada going in to Alabama not being lame but being aggressive, having cooked up some major surprises for Saban's team. No more 3rd and Chaves or 2 straight dive plays then 3rd and forever by the offense, that I feel certain.

Many fans predicting it will be a blow out loss, just don't sense that is the case with these two LSU coaches. Both have reputations they're willing to fight to protect, unlike Miles who seemed to not care about losing his towards the end. I do miss Miles' unique way of talking to the media.

LSU can do this, LSU's players and coaches certainly think so.

Good thing we saved those surprises and didn't break them out in the Troy game!!!

What in the last 3 games makes you think that bama will beat us by 20+?

Our defense is vastly improved with getting players healthy. I doubt they put more than 24 points on us. I think we score at least twice and hopefully more. I just don't see us being beat by 20+

Yeah look at LF7's stats against bama with a better O-line than this year and revamp your statement. The reason Miles isn't here is because of your theory.

Well, just note that Ole Miss rushed for 153 yds, 2 TDs, and 5.5 YPC. Many of those runs were right up the gut. A couple of those were by the b/up QB (3 for 20 yds).

This is by the 118th ranked rushing offense (by yds/gm)

Yes, the D played better. There is more than enough cause for concern when you're talking about going up against an offense that avgs just under 300 yds/gm on the ground.

For me, I have more confidence in the O than the D in this game. That's not saying much, but the D is indeed the biggest concern, to me.

Yeah if we can make them pass we have a distinct advantage with our back 7 vs Hurts in the air. But can we force them to is the question.

Its no coincidence that those who tend to post the least sometimes tend to make the most sense.

I’m with you! I think they can make this a close game and maybe pull it out.
Kinda disappointed so many LSU fans are already calling this game a loss.

LSU fans are slowly gaining confidence in this LSU coaching staff, if LSU manages to beat Alabama, it'l become an avalanche of support.

You would expect Canada to decisively break tendencies.

This game, maybe we flip the script and have 30/70, run/pass. Perhaps our QB leaves the pocket, rolling and bootlegging, instead of working exclusively from the pocket, which we have done all year

Also, we have not thrown to the middle of the field, tossed many screens, nor have we utilized an intermediate range passing attack.

Look for us to do things we haven't done, set up by things that we have. Should be a very interesting chess match.

If special teams keeps Bama on a long field all night, I like Aranda to limit their running game and scoring. Canada just needs to flank their D a hand full of times to score what we'll need to win.

Otherwise, he's nickle and diming Saban to death, just holding the ball and moving the chains...all damn night.

Guys, the fight is Alabama, nothing you say can embarrass any LSU fan more than what Alabama has done to LSU and our fan base. Hope LSU figures a way to pull out win.

If we must talk wives, isn't O's better looking than Saban's. Imagine having Saban's money but being stuck in bed with Saban's wife. I'd sleep in the office.

The excuse was a new coaching staff and new players, it's a legitimate excuse, but one that won't work next year or the year after.

Yes. Finally. After, what, 8-9 years... we finally get to see the secret playbook?

this narrative is really stupid. you, and others espousing this, don't know shite about how a football team works. the vast majority of HC's do very little coaching. O does some on the DL just like Miles did on the OL. it is basically the asst coaches job to do most of the individualall coaching while the HC sets the objectives of the practices, oversees the coaches and about a million other things. all you see is the games so you see O on the sideline and ASSUME that's all he does. I guess you think all a pro golfer does is play in tournaments. you don't attend practice nor do you know anything about watching film or establishing game plans.

thank you!!!! you are spot on.

Where have we heard this bs before. Maybe we will use our secret playbook that we have been holding back. Maybe we will run the triple option with a qb that hasn’t played all year, since you can easy install an new offense in two weeks. I’ll believe this crap when I see.

Bama could and very well may run on us but the Ole Miss game rushing stats don't tell the story of what really went on in that game.

Aranda was playing the safeties deep respecting Patterson, Ole Miss ran the same running play that was allowing line man to take out White. They were hoping Aranda would bring a safety in but he didn't budge. why? because LSU had the lead and wanted to run the clock and now Ole Miss was helping the cause. So Patterson got frustrated and threw deep anyway and sure enough int from our safety.

Once we had a two score lead late in the 3RD he brings the safety up and Delpit fills the gap.

Again I'm not saying Bama won't have success running on LSU but I'm pretty sure Aranda doesn't respect Hurts passing abilities as much as Patersons.

Exactly, I don't think there are but a handful of coach's that actually call plays during the game. Most stay out of the way

It's crazy how LSU fans poor mouth LSU overlooking impressive wins with a young team and new coaching staff, with wins st Fla, Aub, and at Ole Miss. Ala coaches are not looking forward to this game with a LSU team they can't predict
