Coach O doesn't know which surprise plays will be utilized by LSU's assistants on Alabama, he may know which players will have major roles, sauces say his main input is insisting whatever coaches do, it better work, and not hurt LSU.

I've got news for y'all.

Only way lsu beats Alabama is to run harder, block harder, tackle harder and basically play harder than they do.

Trick plays, new formations, new scheme, new packages BS is a waste of time.
Need good things to happen on ST and defense and not turn ball over.

I don’t know about surprise sauce in this game, but I believe O will stress the importance of this game more than Les did. I don’t think Les felt the games against Bama were any more important than other games. O is a recruiter. He knows the importance of this game for the future of the program. I believe he’s cooking up something spicy with the coordinators for Bama this time around. Will it work? Who the frick knows, that’s why they play the games. Just ask Troy. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

The only way to beat Bama is to be able to run an execute plays we haven't run before. Something they haven't seen on film to study an dissect to game plan for.

Everybody has a task, Orgeron's is recruiting and keeping the players fresh and not worn out from the SEC grind.

and that's worth $3.5 million per year with a $12 million buyout?

I don’t care if it’s a blowout loss.

The only thing that will piss me off is if we coach scared/conservative.

Ed O's Buyout by year:
2017-$12 Million to start the year, $8.7 Million at seasons end
2018-$5.2 Million
2019-Unless new contract is made, $2.7 Million

None of us are gonna know LSU's plays even as they're unfolding, neither will Bama. Expect an entertaining football game.

LSU coaches bring'n the sauces, they will be hot!

Because that's the wrong mentality to have.

When you stress certain games are more important than others, that's how teams get let down in games that they shouldn't.

If they go to Bama and lose, how do you approach next week's game when you've already said Bama was the most important of the year?

O's buyout is retarded no doubt. But LSU fans have been begging for years for Les to let the coordinators do their jobs without interference. That is what O is doing.

yea, but that doesn't mean we want our head coach to be neutered.

Hell, if we want a HC that leaves the coordinators alone, I can do that, at a fraction of the cost.

They're both great coaches who will have a bad arse game plan. Can our boys execute it for 4 quarters, and make a few big plays? I'm fired up to see.

LSU can do this, LSU's players and coaches certainly think so.

You're right, they CAN do it, and of course they believe they can. That is what they're paid to do as coaches and given scholarships for as players. But just cause it CAN happen doesn't mean it's GOING to happen. This would be a huge upset. Like Stanford vs USC in 2007 or Arkansas for LSU in 2007 type of upset.

Saban wants to destroy us for recruiting material against us. He will run on our weak DL, and stuff our run and sweeps and pressure DE when he tries to pass. Bama crowd, our youth....there is a reason we are a 3td dog. A few breaks our way with turnovers, Guice breaking a few, and we can keep it close. If so we have a punches chance. But likely a bad loss.

I don't like to admit it, but I have to agree with everything you say here. I don't think we have the beef in the trenches, or the depth. I would love to be wrong. It would be glorious to get the big upset and break their streak.
