Uh, good try. Arambide is UP in the box.
See that lead leg? It's in front of the plate by a good margin. In other words, the plate is towards the back 1/3 of his stance, which means that pitch would need to be ABOVE his knee to even be CLOSE to a strike in the previous photo.

I’m sorry but this is simply just not true. LSU baseball just released a video 11 mins ago where you can see his setup perfectly fine.

Still below the knees by 4” what’s your point, it was a ball and CJJ nuttin up could have lit a fire under this team to keep burning on. IMO it surely made a difference in this game.

I didn’t think it was near as bad as the rant made it out to be but I knew I’d be downvoted into oblivion. So I guess I’ll take the downvotes now.

That’s low in every possible angle. Under the left knee and laces high at the right knee are inexcusably low to even consider strike, let alone call strike.

Not the same at bat, not even the same game.
Uh, good try.

It was an abominable call. That pitch was no more than seven inches off the ground when it cross the plate

Agreed but that ump did not have a designed strike zone all day, he was all over the map. I think Jay was just fed up with the whole deal.

4" below the right knee, but not the left knee. The still pics in this thread show the left knee is closer to the plate and right knee is behind it.

Let's not forget, these slow motion reviews of the play that "prove" it was a strike are not what the idiot behind the plate saw. Strike 2 was low, strike 3 was lower. Idiot did not call it immediately. We do not get this kind of "home-cooking" at home. TV announcers even seemed to agree it was a crap call and they were all up the Tennessee butts.

It was def low, but from that side view it didn't look as bad as I thought it was. It does look like he is up in the box and it was about knee high on the front leg but at home it was low. Just not as bad as it looked on TV.
That ball had some serious drop on it though. Coming into the screen, it looked great then the catcher grabbing it off the dirt.

4 pages in and nobody has picked up on the best part of that tweet...
"one out to go"
All that laughing by the TN pitcher and catcher didn't last long!

does it matter where the plate is or where his knee is?
