Exactly right, Torina just isn’t quite capable of getting LSU to a championship-competing level. LOL: just last week some bozo kept arguing with me about her. He truly feels she’s among the best, and his main argument for LSU Softball’s not competing for titles is because LSU Softball does not have the history, the pedigree to be a big time program. What a NAIVE FOOL that guy is! As I insisted, one superb coach can make all the difference in the world for LSU Softball, yet that hammerhead wouldn’t entertain that at all. Buffoon

Great point. All this lets get rid of Beth because she cost too much money is laughable. Texas Tech just played a PLAYER to go there for 1 mil. Its all about do you think if shes a good of enough coach or not.

You are correct. I was at the game. We were out coached hands down. What else is new. She is the Les Miles and Brian Kelly of softball. The softball program needs new life and it starts at the top.

The softball crowd loves Beth more than they want to see LSU have a coach that can move this team toward a national championship. They're okay with mediocraty.
It's clear Beth cannot recruit well. It's clear that she cannot take us to the promised land so let's make the change now!

Nobody said she was too expensive..Nobody.
We have said, for years, that unlike Kim Mulkey, she does not give us our money's worth...year in and year out she has the talent but is outcoached.
Just like yesterday.

Typical rant. Experts coming out of the woodwork. You sound like you know a lot about our team? And Southeastern? Do know our sec record without looking it up?

I know the definition of insanity. Beth isn't the answer if your goal is championships.

How does that compare to her peers in the SEC and how many of them have made a CWS since Beth's last appearance there in 2017?

Beth is about upper half in the league in compensation. Since 2017, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Texas and Alabama all have made it to the WS

I'm absolutely not an authority on softball, but to me this is significant.
Beth went to the CWS in 4 of her first 6 years. She has not been back since 2017 while 6 of the teams she competes with now have sent teams. Most would see that as regression.
Now if softball is not important enough to be concerned about this reality, that's another discussion I guess?

How did a stupid post like thus get seven upvotes? Les Miles won a national title and played for another. Brian Kelly is one of the winningest coaches in college football history and likely a hall of famer.
Is Beth Torina really in the same breath as them?

Kim is a multi time NC winning HC and brought one to LSU in her second season. These two are not the same. At all.

Swap the 2 head coaches and we run rule SLU

That’s what Florida thought about Napier, how has that worked out? One off games are meaningless, he wins with lesser talent however his style for a full season would get destroyed in the SEC. The dude is a strange dude, zero chance he could recruit well enough to compete in the SEC. He is where he should be and has a done a great job there.

That's baseball. Nice paycheck!

Kim and Beth aren’t even in the same stratosphere. Kim has a national ship at LSU and has brought tons of exposure to the university. So your argument is not very valid.
