Seeing how well JD Moore did got me pondering who else walked on and did well.

He was top 10 in the state his senior year and offered by LSU and almost everyone in the country. Not sure how or why you think he was a walk on.

You are thinking of his brother Craig Steltz who was a highly recruited safety. Kevin was a walk-on who earned a scholarship and three letters playing fullback. He was on the 2003 championship team.

Matt Mauck was a NC winning starting QB. But yea a headhunter on special teams is the obvious answer.....

Booty was 1st team all sec and Colt David holds an LSU record.

Not sure how anyone else is in the conversation besides
