I don't think we try to run up the score. I think we have a mix of players and scheme that can't help scoring.

Well, that person had a point- had they lost that game, they could probably have won a bowl game against a less intimidating opponent than LSU...

You want to talk about going for the throat...on the opening drive of the 2nd half, LSU gets down to 4th and 1 or 2 from about the 30ish if I remember correctly. Long field goal or short punt normally, especially when up 49-14. Nah. Go for it. Stick a Biletnikoff winning wide receiver in the backfield as a running back and let him run it for the first. Get a touchdown a couple plays later.
