The fact that we never saw Hershel Walker, nor Peyton Manning got me thinking of this:

Offense/Defense

Alabama - Shaun Alexander/Derrick Thomas (Hon Mention - Bobby Humphrey)

Arkansas - Darren McFadden/Ken Hamlin (Hon Mention - Felix Jones)

Auburn - Carnell Williams/Tracy Rocker (Hon Mention - Takeo Spikes)

Florida - Tim Tebow/Jevon Kearse (Hon Mention - Emmitt Smith)

Georgia - Quincy Carter/Champ Bailey (Hon Mention - David Pollack)

Kentucky - Tim Couch/Dewayne Robertson (Hon Mention - Craig Yeast)

Miss State - Sleepy Robinson/Fred Smoot (Hon Mention - Quentin Culbertson)

Ole Miss - Eli Manning/Patrick Willis (Hon Mention - Deuce McAllister)

South Carolina - Kenny McKinley/Jasper Brinkley (Hon Mention - Steve Tannehill)

Tennessee - Travis Henry/Jon Henderson (Hon Mention - Jason Witten)

Vanderbilt - Jay Cutler/Jamie Duncan (Hon Mention - Jamie Winborn)

Tim Couch was probably the single greatest performance I've ever seen in Tiger Stadium. He was perfect and singlehandedly beat us.

Did Kelley Washington show us up once or twice? I just remember that one game where we went for 200+.

he and Jabar Gaffney both almost made this list.

Quickest arse-kicking I have seen an LSU team get at home...and that says a lot considering the '93 game with UF wasn't out of hand until the 2nd quarter and really 2nd half. In '01, it was 28-0 in a matter of seconds, it seemed.

That was in Knoxville. He played us twice, but the other site was in ATL.

Cornelius Bennett for Bama blocked a punt and scored. Couldn't block him all day

Is it the best player overall, or best performance by another SEC team, because Grossman slaughtered us for UF. Didn't Fred Taylor have a big game against us one year? (don't remember if it was in TS or not)

IMHO Dansby for Auburn was a beast and I thought Ronnie Brown outplayed Cadillac in TS.

Champ Baily, He killed us on offense and defense.

Did Jamal Lewis play in TS?

You've got a really good list. The only adds I would make are:

Auburn - Karlos Dansby, Cadillac/Irons

Alabama - David Palmer

Arkansas - Matt Jones

Florida - Danny Wuerffel

Georgia - Agree on Champ Bailey - single handedly beat us in '98

Ole Miss - Agree on P. Willis - beast

you might have to include todd wade in this...who's that, right?

well, in '99, deuce and joe gunn ran for 326 yards, ALL behind him
