MacDonald or Skene's? If Skene's breaks his strike out record of 202, I like Skene's.

Nola was great, but I just like Skene's killer instinct on the mound. Talking smack back at the hitters. Plus a very good hitter also.

Ben had 202 Ks in 152.1 innings. His K per 9 was 11.9
Paul has 164 Ks in 86.2 innings. His K per 9 is 17
Let this stat sink in, if Paul were to pitch 152.1 innings, he would end up with 288 Ks this season.
Having stated all that, it's tough to choose between Ben, Paul, or Aaron. All awesome Tigers.

Skenes. Easy. And I’ve been a fan since the early 80’s.

Nola would pitch complete games, so I give him the nod. But man so many great ones to pick from.

What happened to The Night Manager? That was fun watching him! I can't remember his name.

The responsibilities Ben assumed were on a completely different level than what Paul is asked to do. Ben started and closed games regularly.

I imagine Skenes Ks would be much higher if not for umps squeezing the zone on everyone, not just him. Also, didn’t they change the height of threads on the balls in the last decade which helped pitchers? Many variables come into play when comparing them. As said before. All great Tigers.

Lloyd Peever in ‘92 deserves to be up there.
14-0
1.98 era
3 complete games
67 hits allowed in 104.2 innings

Yeah, that's solid. And that wouldn't be a name I would recall, sadly.

For one season?
Lloyd Peever. Dude was dominating.

Ken Schutz...1966 beat FSU #2 in both games of double header

You can’t really directly compare the two because hitters have an entirely different approach today and strike out with much greater frequency in general. That said, the correct answer is Aaron Nola anyway.
