If Patrick Peterson plays at the same level in 2010, then he's my pick. I have never seen a player at LSU dominate his position against blue chip type receviers.

you and i might be the only people in this thread that realize that the decade we are currently in started in 2001 and goes through 2010. so we have another year to pick the best of this decade, and it could very well could be Pat Peterson.

yeah you are right
when people discuss history they always include 1960 in the 50s........
I actually think Peterson is the best player, but Reed was unbelievable.

Yeah and this millennium started in 2001, not 2000, right?

Why does this argument continue to come up.
People need to just face it, when discussing whatever and mainly sports here, when we talk about a decade, it's 80-89, 90-99, 2000-2009.
That's just how it goes.
We all need to just accept it...finally.

The answer is Josh Reed.

Josh Reed....
He got Davey drafted!
No one could cover that guy when he was in college....
He beat out Fitzgerald for the Biletnikoff....
He has numbers and records that will not be broken for a long time.
