Agreed. Pooka is legendary and will be the biggest miss LSU has experienced even in the large pool of f ups.

If he could only count to 10 and spell his name

Anthony ‘A Train’ Thomas was a beast in college. Never did much in the NFL but he was good at Michigan. I think he was there when brady was there.

He had a short NFL career but. Would say he didn’t do much. Rushed for over 1K twice; set the Bears Rookie single game rushing record (188 yds) and was the 2001 NFL Rookie of the Year

but Eli should have gone to a better passing sec school than OLE MISS.... OLE MISS. was just 4 more years of the preppy lifestyle of newman...

Yeah, he could have been the NFL #1 pick had he picked a better passing SEC school.

Peyton Manning.

Peyton and Eli are rightly considered Ole Miss transplants.

"Truly" native born players we missed on? Almost certainly that was Marshall Faulk, 2-time consensus All American at SDSU and both CFB and NFL Hall of Famer.

Bradshaw did not qualify is BS he is passing so he can seem down to Earth! Do you know what the qualifications were to attend LSU in the late 60's? Graduate from high school and merely TAKE the ACT...

It's easier to compile a list after these guys finish playing than before they start.
