I guess that poster missed the Miss. State game last year and the Fla game this year, where Orgeron was out-coached by Mullin by a wide margin...

Better recruiting classes, a NC appearance with a freshman qb, etc etc

Current records aside, Jimbo is a better coach than O

Orgeron, based on the talent at LSU is #9 or so.

What’s their head to head record?

Who has had more talent?

With regards to Fisher and Stoops are you rating them that high on current record or past? Fisher is currently 5-4 and if he finishes well will only make A&M just as bad as it was under Sumlin, but he has a historically good record.

Stoops has been a barely above .500 or below coach in 5 previous seasons at KY, but has done well this year. So his high rating is for 1 good season?

So you want to include other coaches history but ignore Ed’s?

How can you look at the head to heads and say this?
That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve read in here for weeks.

I wasn't discussing Orgeron. I was wondering what the standard was because depending on how coaching was measure 1 of those two shouldn't be that high. If it's current success then O and Stoops should be high and Fisher should not. If it's body of work then Fisher should be high and Stoops and O should be low.

This is the kind of opinion an uninformed woman would hold.

“ he is overrated and would not trade our coach”

Within a couple years we will have a better gauge on whether or not he’s a overrated coach. You might be right, but he’s got a number of skins on his walls for different type titles that’s so far in coach O career has eluded him.

Other than for our own personal opinions, I don’t think there are many objective folks in college football who would agree with you at this point in time about trade value.

Some people seem to be confused over Fisher's ability as a head coach because A & M paid him too much money for too long a period.
Make no mistake: Fisher is a good coach. Far better than Orgeron.
BUt he is not worth what the Aggies have signed him for.

I actually really like coach O, I probably should have put him at 4, so far the 3 guys to above him have obviously proved to be the top 3, my bad, no hate on coach O, got y’all all fired up
