As far as the sites/sounds/scenery and uniqueness of the trip...definitely Seattle for the Washington game.

As far the game intensity, atmosphere... Ole Miss trip where Eli fell on his arse. Saw many, many Ole Miss openly crying after that game. It was great. Also, Bama in 2011 for the #1 versus #2. The atmosphere before and during that game was so tense even though the action on the field wasn't that great, every play had you holding your breath.

Just awesome experience for the historical nature...Notre Dame sometime in like 98 or so. Loved seeing Touchdown Jesus, the stadium, campus, etc but it was cold!

Vanderbilt 2010. I went to the Saints game againts the Vikings the night before. Woke up at 4:00am still drunk and jumped in the backseat. Started drinking agian around Birmingham. Hotel was walking distance from the stadium. Broadway street was awesome. I would have liked to have stayed and extra day to watch the Titans play the Raiders, but some of the people I was with had to be back the Sunday night.

Georgia 2013. Had fun in Atlanta and was able to see Georgia Tech play the Thursday night. Went to a Braves game the Friday night. Had a great time tailgating with the Georgia fans next to us and even though LSU lost, it was a really good game.

Alabama 2009. From what I am able to remember, this was the best road trip I've been on. My buddy had friends that lived in Tuscaloosa so we were able to stay with them. We went try and bull eye a deer the night before the game but we didn't see any. We tailgated with their friends who were all very nice. The game could have been better if the ref called the Patrick Peterson interception correctly.

2004 at Florida. I was part of the band and the first road game (and only to this point) I went to. The other band was awesome to us and gave us Gatorade. Randall came in after Russell got injured and led us to a come back with like 2 minutes to go. I remember all the Florida fans doing the chomp thinking they were gonna get the win. Once we went up at the end, we started to do the chomp back at them to mock them. Looking back it was probably bad sportsmanship, but at the time, seeing their sad deflated faces was a great joy... still is lol

Wisconsin, 1971. Camp Randall Stadium had been expanded and it was their biggest crowd in history. Our team ran onto the field as students threw beer and booze bottles at them. Home crowd was pumped to beat those Southern racists. I was 20 and a junior at LSU. At two separate places pregame I was asked how many members of my family were KKK members. I'm glad we won 38-28, but the locals still hurled racial insults at us after the game was over.

Not even close. My freshman year. Fraternity took a road trip to Alabama in 1982. We kicked the goat plop out of the crimson Skoal Juice Chins - 20-10. (However, it was in Birmingham).

My fraternity did the same thing i.e. chartered a bus to the 1984 game in B'ham. "Rockin' Ray" was our bus driver. Started drinking at 4:00 a.m. There was a tornado at half time then turned cold. Tigers and Eric Martin won! Stayed drunk on the way home, too.

Arizona state 2005, the post-Katrina "home" game. Great trip, great game, awful circumstances back in LA.

Dallas vs Oregon 2011.. For some reason Oregon fans couldn't take the tiger bait.. Plus they thought they had a decent chance of beating us and we whipped their arse.. Alcohol in stadium.. Got hammered. And almost got into many many fights after the game

Atlanta: LSU vs tenn. Trip to a Super Bowl and a redshirt QB emerged to greatness.

Dallas: LSU vs Oregon. A sign of a great season ahead.

Oh, well my apologies, then. I haven't been to a non-neutral away game outside of the SEC.

Worst hands down is Ar-Kansas. I hope War Memorial stadium burns to the ground and all those sister bangers with it. Trashy fans. Best would have to be UGA.

I've had some of my best times in Gainesville, but we would only stay at the sae house over there (yeah the town is pretty bland). They had this big courtyard in the middle of the house where they would tailgate/party.
