Florida State 22 college World Series Appearances. Zero titles, but making it 22 times is extremely impressive. I would put them on the list

Southern California
Texas
Louisiana State (Just like typing like that for Baseball)
Arizona State
Miami
Oregon State
Cal State Fullerton

Probably missing a few, but those for sure

How do you get added to the blue bloods? To me they can only be from a certain era. Let’s say coastal Carolina makes Omaha 15 times in next 30 yrs…they won’t be a blue blood. LSU became a power in late 80’s long after there were blue bloods

I remember when Oklahoma State and Wichita State were the bluebloods.

WSU was a childhood favorite. I actually went on a recruiting trip there in the late 90’s. CSB I know.
Long Beach State was another 80/90’s team that was consistently present in college baseball

Wichita State hasn’t made it to the NCAA regionals since ‘13, but before that they’ve been in it nearly every year since 1980.
Would like to see them make a comeback.

6 Omaha appearances. 1 title.

That is not what makes you a blue blood. Blue Blood is not determined from 2000-Present. If you want to say who are the premier teams in College Baseball since early 2000's then yes Oregon State is in that conversation.

USC, Miami, Stanford, Texas are the blue bloods of College Baseball outside of LSU. There is a reason why LSU is not considered a blue blood in football even though we have the 2nd most National Championships since 2000.

LSU isn't a blue blood. Consistent success was three decades ago when not that many programs invested, as they do today.

That doesn't make them a blue blood.

Please explain to me how Wichita St. is a blue blood but LSU isn't in your mind.

Look what Skip did for college baseball! How can you not add LSU to be a blue blood. Blue Blood to me is what has the team done for the sport and LSU has certainly earned being a blue blood

By this logic, neither is USC. Been a long time since the Rod Dedeaux era.

Believe it or not Maine LSU was not a blue blood. Maybe y’all think they are but not in the sense I understand blue bloods to be

So Maine, who hasn’t won a regional in almost 40 years and only has 7 cws appearances are a blue blood. But LSU who has the second most CWS championships isn’t.

Got it.

Never have understood posters like you. Its one thing to be a "homer" but to dig your heels in and campaign against LSU's accomplishment is a head scratcher

Regardless, what LSU has done in the last 40 years is amazing. If LSU's accomplishments since 1986 don't qualify in your book, who besides Southern Cal and Texas do?

Maine hasn't been relevant since they stopped making regionals truly regional. They only have the appearances they do because someone had to come from the northeast.

Wichita St was a powerhouse before LSU. So was Texas, Maine, Miami, FSU, USC, Ok. St

Can more programs become blue bloods as time passes?

I think LSU has been the most influential program to what cbb is today…one of the top 3-4 programs ever. But that does not make us a blue blood in terms of what a blue blood is.

Oregon State???- 3 CWS champions in last 15 years
arguing whether Oregon state is a blue blood baseball is like arguing whether or not LSU is a blue blood in football. Plenty of recent success but it comes down to one’s definition of blue blood.
