They need to have a fire lit under their arse or they will be portal bound and hoping a team takes a chance on them.

Huh? You're not smart.
They got beat out by one of the best backs in the country. Its not like they are busting their arse. Our starter is better!

You haven't seen them run with the 1s yet this year. Chill

They still have a lot of work to do with vision and feel. There was one play with Berry that was a stretch with a ton of room. It took a little too long to hit it and what could have been a bigger gain was a 3 or 4 yd rush. IMO, for whatever that’s worth, is what is separating them from being 1 or 2. Vision and feel. Hopefully we see some improvement by next game, which I think we will.

Kiffin has stated constantly that he’s going to play the best guy, no more coddling because of recruiting rankings, NIL, or seniority. I still hope Durham/Berry can find a way to get more snaps eventually.

Well here’s the thing. Even if God forbid Jones got injured, Durham nor Berry is coming in because Gage has passed them up as well. But you are still right that Berry at least needs to stay ready. I’m sorry but I think Durham is a lost cause. He’s just bad.

Durham doesn’t seem to be the same since injury. Berry has the talent. Hopefully having an actual coach and not just a recruiter will help him.

Durham has always had terrible vision. He'll never have it if he doesn't already have it at this point.

LaTech game would be a good time to get them in with the 1's if we're up big.

I could care less about scoring overwhelming points against a team we already defeated by the 3rd quarter.

If the game isn't in doubt treat it like a scrimmage and work on development and depth.

I was wondering about this also.

I noticed that J.T. Lindsey got plenty of carries for Ole Miss as the backup RB and had some good moments. I always thought Berry was better than him, realizing Lindsey didn’t really stay on the team long enough last season to tell.

A sauce on On3 said Berry is nicked up, so I’m expecting to see him later

If they got beat out, then they need to work their way back. If they can't, they're just not good enough.

This was true in junior high, and it's true now.

Harlem still has a chance to be special. He first needs to gain some weight. Sadly, with Dillon Jones being a red shirt sophomore, I do think Harlem ends up transferring, especially if our offense continues to primarily feature one running back. We will see how it all plays out.
