That was the most anticlimatic national championship celebration ever.

besdies Tigerdroppings, no one says comparing him to Lamar Odom is a disservice

Lamar Odom made 1 all-star game in his career. Call me crazy that I think the #1 player in high school, and very likely #1 nba draft pick, should average more than 13 points for his career. Lamar Odom was notoriously known to not live up to his crazy potential. Maybe Lamar and Simmons have the same type of potential, but Lamar didn't live up to it

odom averaged 17/8/5 over his first 10 seasons in the NBA. Every #1 high school prospect won't be lebron

While he has tons of potential, Simmons isn't even on KD's level imo

Seems to me like Lamar Odom's game may have had a little CRACK in it?

Odom's prime was really good. His 13ppg career average is weighed down by his last 2 years, and his years in LA when he was the 3rd and 4th option. His passing ability made the triangle offense tick though for the Lakers.

So i mean the guy played 14 years, he won 2 NBA titles and played in a 3rd, made an all star game, and is widely regarded as one of the better passing big men ever.

Odom played only one year in college and averaged 17 ppg. If Simmons can do that next year, we'll be in good shape.
