Do you have $50M lying around?

BK is here for at least 6 years regardless of how this season goes. LSU is not eating his massive buyout after next season

If you don’t know more than you claim to know about LSU then you should just root for Tulane

If we lose this game then serious questions will and should be asked about BKs future here

8-4 means we get upset 3 times AND don’t upset A&M. That’s okay to you 8-4 people?

I didn't say it was "ok." OP asked for objectivity and I gave it.

Let’s just start off with a win vs USC and see how the rest of the season goes. As long as we win and improve every week that is all you can ask for. I have high hopes, but before we can go 8-4 or 12-0 we need to go 1-0

I’ll wait until after this first game to make any judgements. It’s only one game BUT we should know how much better our defense is. Defensive improvement, I mean drastic improvement is the key.. IMO

We will certainly have some defensive improvement. But I’m not sure we will be LSU good on defense. The key is going to be Nuss. Losing a Heisman winner will be a drop off. If Nuss can step up and the offensive drop is less than the defensive improvement, then we will be better than last year. If Nuss has improved enough to be lightning in a bottle, then watch out.

The offense won’t be as exciting but will still be solid.

If the DL can get decent pressure w/o having to send the house, it’ll take a lot of pressure off our DB’s and to me that’s the difference between 8/9 wins vs 10/11 wins.

The reality is we have two new coordinators. Defense can only get better. Offense has the line and skill position talent…. Can they learn the system in year 1?

Team will be good but certainly has some unknowns.

A 3 loss season with these variables would be pretty good. 2 loss season possible. Ill say ceiling is a 1 loss season and requires pretty much all our question marks to have a reaffirming answer (cb play, new offense, punt returning, field goals, injury wildcard, etc)

We have the talent to be 10-2 ,11-1.
If things go to shite we could be 8-4.
If our defense and Nuss plays very well we could be 11-1.

No. Watching Clemson and UGA tackle in space and attack the line of scrimmage on defense is a reminder that LSU is years away from being a contender.

I think 10 wins and a 10ish playoff ranking.

BK will not have to coach for his job for another 5-6 years. LSU cannot pay him $60 m to leave after 4 years.
