My first game in Tiger Stadium was 1961 south end-zone low - I was a boy scout and it was the first time I ever saw a drunk man in my life - LOL

I can still remember seeing Mike the Tiger and the feeling of being in that Stadium. I installed all the score boards for LSU in 1979 and gained a full zone pass and a parking pass for all LSU events. Loved it - got paid to go to the Tiger games - all of em.

The moment I walk into Tiger Stadium I still get that feeling. I will be at the game this year when LSU beats Bama - If you can't feel it - it's on you and you are the one missing out !

If you want to be enthusiastic, be enthusiastic. The problem with the current discussions is that getting into the weeds doesn't do your enthusiasm any good, because you end up spinning, justifying, etc. at best neutral news and usually negative things. Like the above.

Let's not talk about lies vs. truth, but the statement that O is unlike 99% of coaches is ludicrous. We did not find some diamond in the rough coach who tells the truth, speaks well, has a vision and a plan, and no one saw it and hired for 30 years. This did not happen. He may be successful, but he is not some unique coaching giant that no one has ever uncovered.

ETA: Now, notice we aren't talking about your predicted record. That's just an opinion. Many of the O fans, possibly you included, will frame what I said as me hoping that LSU fails, which isn't the case. I'm more interested in setting clear expectations and understanding our situation, which includes Ed Orgeron who I do not think is a capable individual for LSU, nor is there enough rational evidence for that to be the case.
