Been looking at BAMA’s Stats & Box Scores in detail & I can’t get an honest gauge on

How good or bad they are by any stretch of the imagination because the numbers are impressive, but the combined record of their top 5 opponents is 16 - 24.

I’m not saying that Bama is not good because they haven’t played anyone.

However, I wouldn’t touch this game with a 10 foot pole (straight up or ATS) because you really have now fraking way of knowing whether they are an excellent team or somewhere lees that that.

My heart says the Tigers are the better team, but there’s no way to know how good BAMA truly is until about 7:00 pm Saturday....

They are very good and they know how to beat LSU. Stats don't mean anything in this game. Usually that's bad news for us, but this year, we'll see.

Everyone knew how to beat LSU the previous years.

This is a completely different team.

LSU doesn’t need the refs to cheat their asses off to beat Tennessee.

They used to know how to beat LSU. LSU is not the same LSU. LSU's QB is not the same ole LSU QB. How bout dat !

I don't think they are close to what they normally are. Hell, a few horrible calls against Tenn, or the Vols have a legit chance to beat them. This isn't close to the same team that Lsu usually sends against them. For those of you using that argument, I'm sorry you never progressed intellectually past high school. For the first time in a long time, I could actually see lsu winning this game convincingly, if they play well, otherwise a close game at worst.

Yeah, that argument makes no sense. It sounds like something a Gump would say. Hmmm

instead of wasting time and energy on this type of stuff, why don't we just relax and watch the game. Then we'll know.

Tides of change coming. At least you aren't on here defending bama. You are actually neutral now. Slowly coming over to our side. Congrats.

Lol. You have zero way of knowing. Zilch. I love when you arrogant little punks state predictions as if they are fact. Clemson was a 6 pt dog too, and beat the shite out of them. Take the bama glasses off, and their defense can and will be had. They hate playing against uptempo rpo. Lsu D starting to gel. Tua hurt. I didn't say it as fact, because unlike you, I don't know everything. But, I think there is a real chance lsu wins double digits if they play well.

Hmm...bama alter alert. Almost like you took offense.

burrow has been significantly better throwing past 5 yards than tua. i think bama's offense will be more one dimensional than lsu's will be. i think lsu's d gets one more stop than bama's d.

I think people try to sort through stats to ascertain which team has an edge and where that edge is. All sorts of reasons why. Gambling is a big reason but some just find it interesting. Some just like to have the knowledge.
So it’s not as much of a waste of time as you claim .

It’s actually a good use of the mind since it requires a relatively large degree of analytical skill.

The one thing that scares me the most is the mental aspect of this major match up. If the Bama players came out in green and gold uniforms, we would wax their arse in my opinion. But they will still be in red and white unfortunately.

You've been here 2 weeks and are calling everyone a Bama alter. The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

It’s a fair assessment. I guess what I find different is that people are putting up points on them. They feel less infallible. LSU is obviously better but the last couple of games we haven’t executed in the RZ as well. Really hard to tell who will win.
