Couldn't even muster the maturity to congratulate coach O on an impressive first game because it would violate their worldview that the previous coach is a deity.

Both Miles fans and Miles haters are pretty much backed into a corner. Miles fans is self explanatory. The majority of Miles haters didn't like the Orgeron hire either, so if he is successful they'll still find a way to be miserable.

I was a Miles fan. Now I'm an Orgeron fan. I just choose to cheer really hard for our team and support the coach no matter who it is. Go figure.

We won game against a clearly inferior team, so Coach O is the next Nick Saban and this proves Miles should have never coached any team other than a JUCO team.

Pathetic.

Sounds like you still have a chip on your shoulder for Miles getting fired and people who were calling for it.

It was really weird how some were Miles fans first and LSU fans second.

I thought there were better hires than CEO. I did not count Tom Herman as one of them.

That being said, what I THINK is CEO's HC/management philosophy I love. LSU is trying something different, not completely, but different than your typical mold. And it's not just regarding CEO. It's CEO with Austin Thomas, with our on version of a shadow staff, with Aranda and Canada, with Aranda and Canada interracting with each other in new ways, etc. It seems things are unfolding along those lines. All that comes with the CEO hire; if it continues unfolding that way, then I will love the CEO hire. In the end I might love the hire, and the smallest factor will be CEO himself.

Yes, we won a game against a clearly inferior team. But we dominated them and by the middle of the 3rd quarter the win was no longer in doubt. We haven't seen a lot of that lately.

I don't see anyone claiming O is the next Nick Saban because of this. Only that it was a promising start.

There's really not much to complain about, and frankly most of us are amazed that you are so persistently negative.

You argue as well as my wife.

But at least her excuse is she's a woman. What's yours?

I'm an LSU fan. I don't give a shite who coaches our team as long as we are winning.
