16 receptions with 5 drops and 3 fumbles this year.
Bech had 0 drops and 0 fumbles as a receiver this year. I can prove this straight off PFF's stats if you'd like. Dont know why people have to lie to try and get a point across.
Bech was injured coming into the year and found himself behind. We know he's a solid player from his freshman season where he had a very productive freshman year and was even ahead of the other freshmen then. What pushed him to the portal seems to be Boutte returning which means less balls for him next year with the emergence of Nabers this year as well. He's a good player and I'm sure he'll find some pretty good landing ground wherever he goes and be productive.

The amount of players posting and showing love to Bech speaks highly to him as a person. Best of luck!

Kid played hard...but man it was a really bad season for him.

Hate this news. You can see the guy is a competitor and has heart. Sad that we’ll not be the team that sees his full potential. I think whoever lands him is going to be very happy. Hope he changes his mind. If not, hope he balls out wherever he goes.

Who paid for his finger surgery yesterday? LSU?

If bech wasn’t white, none of this would matter and it would be a 3 page thread. FTR that goes for those that like him bc he’s a white kid and those that dislike him for the same reason. There’s 2-3 posters on here that are really happy now that he’s gone and it has nothing to do with his productivity or lack thereof.
You are 100% correct.
Personally, I liked the kid. Had nothing against him. Was he a superb player for us? No, but he was better than average. In a different system, he could be a real asset. Is he NFL caliber? No.
I just think the different responses some players get in here for doing the same things is ridiculous and I try to call it out. I’m sure I’m guilty of it myself and I want that called out too.
I don’t fault ANY player for doing what they think is best for them. I personally hate ALL the post about “no chest” or whatever about any players that leave (or opt out of a meaningless bowl game).
White player, black player, Mexican, the very rare Asian player…. I don’t give a shite as long as you’re
1: good
2; play with full dedication
3: don’t be a complete shite head. You can have swagger just don’t be overboard with it.
Yeah, some of this is without doubt at least somewhat racially motivated. It may not even be a conscious decision by the ones doing it. A lot of “racism” isn’t and yes, that is true for every race not just Caucasians.
It is what it is. I hope the kid the best.

Was it an injury he sustained playing for LSU? If so, they should have.

Hope he transfers to Tulane and helps them keep rolling. Dude could dominate in the AAC.

Apparently he’s headed to TCU

People hating on him need to GTFO. He’s a good kid and a good player. Our offense was hot dogshit this year, that’s not his fault.
Will do well elsewhere IMO

Let him go. Wish him the best. Who are you pulling off the field for him to play every down like he wants? 7, 8 and 11 are not coming off the field.

This is the landing spot…TCU

4 wide outs, spread, QB and a RB in the backfield, 5 linemen …. Yep! That makes 11. I’d say there’s room for Bech.
How many WRs do we need on the roster? I’ll say ….. 6?

Man, just a head scratcher. He had a sophomore slump after carrying what was left of the team as a freshman.
Had a couple of big catches in the SECCG, one of which set up the FG to end the half.
Really hate the mentality of needing to be the #1 guy instead of being a role player on a championship team. He played a lot down the stretch, and was going to move up a spot assuming Jenkins leaves.

Weird dynamic in play for sure
How he was selected to return kicks in any way shape or form was a complete head scratcher to me
High school, sure. Small college somewhere, maybe.

He housed one (horrible penalty but that’s irrelevant) and had another good return. Muffed one punt, but hey Nabers muffed two in one game. The kickoff was a weird situation.
