You can live very well in Chicago on that money. If he’s broke then it’s not because he isn’t paid enough. If he goes broke on 550k, he would have with $1 million too

This about sums up his career - lack of consistency and will.

Basically like Vince Vaughn’s character in “Rudy”. Lol

Weed and consistency cost him a draft spot, not talent. He'll be fine if he tried a little harder.

the NFL has decintivized players returning to school which has resulted in over 100 players that declared early this year and nearly 40% of them going undrafted.

I think he can get a new contract after a year if they want to keep him happy.

Agree 100%, Kevin’s attitude and his high opinion of himself vesus his actual talent and willingness to work hard was always his problem at LSU. Will see in NFL, but I doubt he makes it

La'el Collins didn't get a new deal after a year, and his reasons for going undrafted were bullshite. Tolliver fricked up plain and simple.

And to the genius arguing that his deal isn't peanuts, stop comparing it to normal people's salaries. It's absolutely peanuts compared to what he could have had if he actually put effort into his time here.

That's a little naive for this day and age, my friend. They made the movie "Rudy" because it's essentially a sports fairy tale, and people like a good sports fairy tale.

College football is the minor leagues for the pro league that doesn't have a minor league. Ooops, correction, CFB is BELOW a true minor league because the players play for no payment whatsoever. True minor leagues are still pro leagues.

Getting to pick your team is better than being drafted last.

Maybe momentarily but one thing I’ve learned in life, people don’t change. He will eventually be the same old half-arse he was at LSU

Nice. Can we backcharge on the total money spent on him?

Wow! light a fire under his butt and he all of a sudden becomes the player we thought he would be at LSU.

I’ve seen more money than that walking through the quad.
